How to Avoid Probate
The best way, while figuring out how to avoid probate court, is to start by looking at titled assets. When we buy things, we buy them in our individual name. When items have a title (like a house, car, boat, etc.), after that person dies, it becomes a big problem on how to get their name “off of the title.”
Probate has become very expensive and should be avoided at all costs (no joke). Anything can happen in probate court, and it is best to not end up there to begin with.
